SeatDove is run by Raven Media LLC, in Honolulu, Hawaii. These terms are the agreement between you and Raven Media LLC for the site at seatdove.com. Write to [email protected] if you need us.

The chart

SeatDove is a seating chart you build in your own browser. There is no account. The chart stays on that device. Save a copy of the wedding file if you want it on another phone, or after you clear this browser. Opening that file brings the same wedding back. Start over makes a new, empty chart.

What is free, and what costs $19

Building is free. There is no limit on guests or tables. You can arrange the room, preview the sign, and make a find-your-seat link without paying. The preview has a small “Made with SeatDove” line.

The print-ready PDF is $19, paid once, for one wedding. That payment is for the clean PDF of that one wedding file, the file whose id was sent to checkout. It does not cover a different chart. The paid PDF does not include the SeatDove line. Payment goes through Stripe. After you pay, Stripe’s return link restores the purchase on a device that has that same file, and you can paste the checkout id on the print screen.

Refunds

Because the PDF is a digital download, the sale is final once the clean PDF has been delivered. Change-of-mind refunds are not offered.

There are two exceptions.

If the PDF does not work, or will not unlock, as described, email us within 14 days of the purchase. We may try to fix it first. If we cannot, we refund that purchase.
An accidental charge, or a duplicate charge, is refunded.

Your words

You own the names, dates, and other text you type. You are responsible for them: for having a proper reason to include each person, and for who you share those names with. We do not receive the chart, and we do not claim it.

The find-your-seat link

The link contains the couple’s names, the date, and the name and table of each guest who has a seat. Guests who are not seated are left out. Anyone who has the link can read that list. It is not stored on a server. If the seating changes, share a new link. The old one still shows the old seats.

No warranty, and a limit on liability

SeatDove is provided as it is. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, Raven Media LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including a lost chart or a plan that went wrong, arising out of the site or the PDF. Our total liability for a claim about a wedding is capped at the amount you paid us for that wedding. If you paid nothing, that cap is zero. Some places do not allow these limits. Where they do not, the limits apply only as far as the law allows. The refund section above is unchanged by this paragraph.

Hawaii law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii.

Changes

We may update these terms. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If you keep using SeatDove after that date, the updated terms apply.
